My Favorite Storify Curations of 2016
If you have been following me for a while, you know I love twitter. It is probably my favorite social media platform. I enjoy the stories that arise from interactions and especially live tweets from conferences. This year I collected some great Storify’s (collections of tweets that tell a story)… Here are my favorites…

I started seeing this magic unfold live on twitter and immediately thought how this needed to be captured. At the time of this writing it has received close to 20,000 views It also inspired one of my most viewed blog posts. This is an important conversation and I hope it keeps a dialogue going about this topic.

2. Council on Social Work Education Annual Conference
This year I was able to attend my first CSWE conference. I got to meet face to face with many people in the social work community that I have “met” via social media. It was wonderful to network and digest some of the latest trends and innovations in social work education. I also did a blog about this event as well

3. #1700 Too Many: New York State’s Inaugural Suicide Prevention Conference
In September, New York State sponsored it’s first suicide prevention conference. State mental health representatives acknowledged it was long overdue. They announced the new statewide plan to address suicide. The title of the conference was symbolic of the 1,700 New Yorkers that died by suicide in 2014…

4. MCON Conference
This was an amazing conference that is sponsored by The Achieve Agency. It highlight the success stories of some of the largest non-profits and social enterprise agencies. It is full of great resources an insights for people working in this space. It is also visually enjoyable…

5. Healthcare Experience Refactored Conference
This was a wonderful conference with the focus on redesigning the healthcare experience. There was not only helpful information but cool use of post-it notes and posters for brain storming. It not only has valuable information but is also visually stunning…
