Thanks for the thought provoking post. I think joining/forming a community is key. Things like forming a tweet chat or a LinkedIn group can place you in a very valuable position. Blogging (and even Vloging) can put you in a positions of thought leadership. Community leadership is great but if I am going to buy a product from you, I want to make sure you know what you’re talking about. Community leadership is important but I find so is thought leadership. That’s why I think putting your ideas in long form/blogging is important.
